Princess Maria Bonaparte
Princess Maria Bonaparte was a member of the Bonaparte family, born on January 18, 1883, in Prague. She was the great-granddaughter of Napoleon Bonaparte, the famous French military leader and emperor. Maria was known for her contributions to psychology and her work with Sigmund Freud, whom she studied under and later became a close associate.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Maria Bonaparte was also an author and a philanthropist. She played a significant role in promoting psychoanalysis in France and was involved in various charitable activities. Maria passed away on September 21, 1962, in Paris.
