Princess Helen of Romania
Princess Helen of Romania was born on January 25, 1896, in Athens, Greece. She was the daughter of King Constantine I of Greece and Queen Sophia of Greece. Helen became a prominent figure in Romanian history when she married King Carol II of Romania in 1921, becoming the Queen Consort of Romania.
Throughout her life, Princess Helen was known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes. After her husband's abdication in 1930, she played a significant role in the royal family and was involved in various humanitarian efforts until her death on November 28, 1982, in Paris, France.
