Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Valentinois
Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Valentinois, was born on December 7, 1898, in Monaco. She was the daughter of Prince Louis II of Monaco and Princess Alice of Monaco. Charlotte became the heir presumptive to the Monegasque throne after her father ascended to power.
In 1920, she married Count Pierre de Polignac, and they had three children, including Prince Rainier III of Monaco. Charlotte played a significant role in the cultural life of Monaco and was involved in various charitable activities. She passed away on November 16, 1977, leaving a lasting legacy in her principality.
