Prince William Henry, Duke of Gloucester and Edinburgh
Prince William Henry, Duke of Gloucester and Edinburgh, was a member of the British royal family born on 15th December 1776. He was the son of Prince William Henry, Duke of Gloucester and Princess Mary. William served in the British Army and held the rank of major-general.
He became the Duke of Gloucester and Edinburgh in 1816 after the death of his father. William was known for his interest in architecture and was involved in various building projects. He passed away on 30th March 1834, leaving behind a legacy tied to both military service and royal duties.
