Prince Vladimir
Prince Vladimir, also known as Vladimir the Great, was a ruler of Kievan Rus' from 980 to 1015. He is best known for his role in the Christianization of the region, converting to Christianity in 988 and establishing it as the state religion. This significant decision helped to unify the diverse tribes under his rule and laid the foundation for the cultural and religious development of Russia.
