Prince Adolphus
Prince Adolphus was a member of the British royal family, born on February 24, 1774. He was the second son of King George III and Queen Charlotte. Adolphus served in the British Army and held the rank of major-general. He was known for his interest in the arts and sciences, as well as his support for various charitable causes.
In 1818, Adolphus married Princess Augusta of Hesse-Kassel, and they had three children together. He was also involved in diplomatic efforts, representing Britain in various capacities. Prince Adolphus passed away on July 8, 1850, leaving a legacy of public service and cultural patronage.
