Prime Minister of Norway
The Prime Minister of Norway is the head of government in Norway, responsible for leading the executive branch and implementing laws. This position is held by the leader of the political party that wins the most seats in the Storting, Norway's parliament, during elections. The Prime Minister works with a cabinet of ministers to manage various government departments and policies.
The Prime Minister represents Norway in international matters and plays a key role in shaping the country's domestic and foreign policies. The current Prime Minister, as of October 2023, is Jonas Gahr Støre, who has been in office since October 2021.
