Pride Symbols
Pride symbols represent the LGBTQ+ community and its fight for equality and acceptance. The most recognized symbol is the rainbow flag, which features six colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Each color signifies different aspects of the community, such as life, healing, sunlight, nature, harmony, and spirit.
Other symbols include the pink triangle, originally used to identify gay men in Nazi concentration camps, and now reclaimed as a symbol of pride and resilience. The lambda symbol, representing the fight for LGBTQ+ rights, is also widely recognized. These symbols foster unity and visibility within the community.
