Presque Isle Light
Presque Isle Light is a historic lighthouse located on Presque Isle State Park in Pennsylvania. Built in 1873, it stands 97 feet tall and is one of the few remaining lighthouses on the Great Lakes. The lighthouse was constructed to guide ships navigating the waters of Lake Erie.
The light was automated in 1962, and today it is a popular tourist attraction. Visitors can climb the tower for a panoramic view of the surrounding area, including the beautiful landscapes of Presque Isle State Park. The lighthouse is also part of the Presque Isle Light Station, which includes a keeper's house and other historical structures.
