Predatory Wasps
Predatory wasps are insects that belong to the order Hymenoptera and are known for their role as natural pest controllers. They primarily feed on other insects, such as caterpillars and aphids, which helps maintain ecological balance. These wasps have a slender body and can be recognized by their narrow waist and two pairs of wings.
Unlike honeybees, predatory wasps do not produce honey. Many species, such as paper wasps and yellowjackets, build nests where they raise their young. Female wasps often paralyze their prey and bring it back to the nest, providing food for their larvae.
