Prayer Flags
Prayer flags are colorful pieces of cloth, often found in Tibetan and Buddhist cultures, that carry prayers and blessings. Traditionally, they are hung outdoors, where the wind can carry the prayers into the universe. Each color represents different elements and emotions, promoting peace, compassion, and wisdom.
The flags come in sets, usually with five colors: blue, white, red, green, and yellow. They are often inscribed with mantras or symbols, and their purpose is to spread goodwill and positive energy. Over time, the flags fade and fray, symbolizing the impermanence of life and the continuous cycle of renewal.
