Powered Paragliding
Powered Paragliding, also known as paramotoring, is a recreational flying sport that combines a paraglider wing with a motorized backpack. This setup allows pilots to take off and land in small spaces, making it accessible for enthusiasts in various locations. The motor provides thrust, enabling pilots to ascend and maintain altitude without relying solely on wind currents.
Pilots use a harness to connect to the paraglider and the motor, which typically runs on gasoline. Safety equipment, such as a helmet and reserve parachute, is essential. Training and certification are recommended to ensure safe flying practices and proper handling of the equipment.
