Post-Communist States
Post-Communist States refer to countries that transitioned from a communist system of governance to a different political and economic structure after the fall of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s. This group includes nations in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, such as Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine, which moved towards democracy and market-oriented economies.
These states faced various challenges during their transition, including economic instability, political corruption, and social unrest. Many have made significant progress in establishing democratic institutions and integrating into global markets, while others continue to struggle with issues related to governance and economic development.
