Post-9/11 GI Bill
The Post-9/11 GI Bill is a U.S. law that provides education benefits to military veterans who served on active duty after September 10, 2001. It covers tuition and fees for veterans attending college, university, vocational, or technical schools, and also provides a monthly housing allowance and a stipend for books and supplies.
To qualify, veterans must have served at least 90 days of active duty after the specified date. Benefits can be transferred to dependents, allowing service members to support their family members' education. This program aims to help veterans successfully transition to civilian life through education.
