Pomerape
Pomerape is a stratovolcano located in the Andes mountain range on the border between Chile and Bolivia. It stands at an elevation of approximately 6,282 meters (20,610 feet) and is part of the Nevados de Payachata volcanic group. The volcano is known for its symmetrical cone shape and is often covered in snow.
The last known eruption of Pomerape occurred in the late 19th century, around 1888. It is considered an active volcano, although it has not erupted in recent years. The surrounding area is characterized by diverse ecosystems and is popular for outdoor activities such as hiking and mountaineering.
