Polish-Lithuanian-Teutonic War
The Polish-Lithuanian-Teutonic War (1519-1525) was a conflict primarily between the Kingdom of Poland, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and the Teutonic Order. The war arose from territorial disputes and the desire of Poland and Lithuania to curb the power of the Teutonic Knights, who controlled significant territories in the Baltic region.
The war concluded with the Treaty of Thorn in 1525, which resulted in the secularization of the Teutonic Order's territories. The Order became a duchy under Polish suzerainty, marking a significant shift in power dynamics in Eastern Europe and contributing to the rise of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
