Polish Literary Society
The Polish Literary Society (Towarzystwo Literackie) was established in 1907 in London to promote Polish literature and culture among the Polish diaspora. It aimed to support Polish writers and poets, fostering a sense of community and cultural identity among Poles living abroad. The society organized literary events, discussions, and published works to celebrate Polish heritage.
Throughout its history, the society has played a significant role in preserving and promoting the works of notable Polish authors, such as Adam Mickiewicz and Henryk Sienkiewicz. It continues to serve as a platform for contemporary Polish literature, encouraging new voices and connecting them with a global audience.
