Pokémon X and Y
"Pokémon X and Y" are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. Released in October 2013, they introduced players to the Kalos region, inspired by northern France, featuring new Pokémon, gameplay mechanics, and 3D graphics. Players assume the role of a Pokémon Trainer, capturing and battling creatures to become the Champion.
The games also introduced the Fairy type and the Mega Evolution mechanic, allowing certain Pokémon to temporarily evolve during battles. Players can trade and battle with others locally or online, enhancing the social aspect of the Pokémon experience.
