Pokémon FireRed is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. Released in 2004, it is a remake of the original Pokémon Red game from 1996. Players take on the role of a Pokémon Trainer, capturing and training various creatures known as Pokémon to battle other trainers and complete their Pokédex. In Pokémon FireRed, players explore the Kanto region, battling gym leaders to earn badges and ultimately challenge the Elite Four. The game features improved graphics, updated gameplay mechanics, and the ability to trade Pokémon with Pokémon LeafGreen, its counterpart.
