Plough
A plough is a farming tool used to turn and break up soil, preparing it for planting crops. Traditionally made of wood or metal, it has a sharp blade that cuts into the ground, creating furrows. This process helps aerate the soil and mix in nutrients, making it more suitable for growing plants.
There are different types of ploughs, including the mouldboard plough, which turns the soil over, and the disc plough, which uses circular blades. Modern farming often employs tractors to pull ploughs, increasing efficiency and allowing farmers to cultivate larger areas of land.
