The Plesiosaur was a marine reptile that lived during the time of the dinosaurs, around 200 to 65 million years ago. It had a long neck, a small head, and a large body, which made it look quite unique. Plesiosaurs were excellent swimmers, using their four flippers to glide through the water, much like modern-day sea turtles.
These fascinating creatures were carnivorous, feeding on fish and other marine animals. Fossils of Plesiosaurs have been found all over the world, providing scientists with valuable information about their size and lifestyle. Their mysterious appearance has even inspired legends of sea monsters, like the famous Loch Ness Monster.
