Plant Cell
A plant cell is a basic unit of life found in plants. It has a rigid outer layer called the cell wall, which provides structure and support. Inside, plant cells contain various organelles, including chloroplasts for photosynthesis, where sunlight is converted into energy. They also have a large vacuole that stores water and nutrients.
Plant cells differ from animal cells in several ways. Besides the cell wall and chloroplasts, they typically have a more regular shape due to their rigid structure. Plant cells also have plasmodesmata, which are channels that allow communication and transport between neighboring cells.
