Pixels
Pixels are the smallest units of a digital image or display. They are tiny squares of color that combine to form pictures on screens, such as those found in computers, televisions, and smartphones. Each pixel can display a specific color, and when many pixels are arranged together, they create the images we see.
The term "pixel" is derived from the words "picture" and "element." In digital imaging, the resolution is often measured in pixels, indicating how many pixels are used to create an image. Higher resolution means more pixels, resulting in clearer and more detailed images, which is important for devices like cameras and monitors.
