Pipit
A pipit is a small, slender bird belonging to the family Motacillidae. These birds are often found in open habitats like grasslands and fields, where they forage for insects and seeds. Pipits are known for their distinctive, melodic songs and their ability to blend into their surroundings due to their earthy-colored plumage.
There are several species of pipits, including the American Pipit and the Tree Pipit. They are characterized by their long legs and pointed wings, which help them in their agile flight. Pipits are migratory birds, traveling long distances between breeding and wintering grounds.
