Photographic Positive
A photographic positive is an image that displays the same colors and brightness as the original scene or subject. It is created when light-sensitive materials, such as film or photographic paper, capture an image during the exposure process. The resulting positive image can be viewed directly and shows the true representation of the subject.
In contrast to a photographic negative, where colors and brightness are inverted, a photographic positive is often used for prints and displays. Common formats for photographic positives include slides, prints, and digital images, which allow for easy viewing and sharing of captured moments.
