Phased Array Radar
Phased Array Radar is a type of radar system that uses multiple antennas, or elements, to send and receive signals. Unlike traditional radar, which mechanically moves to scan an area, phased array radar can electronically steer its beam in different directions without moving the antennas. This allows for faster and more precise tracking of objects, such as aircraft or weather patterns.
The technology works by adjusting the phase of the signals emitted from each antenna element. By controlling these phases, the radar can focus its energy in specific directions, improving detection capabilities. Phased Array Radar is widely used in military applications, weather monitoring, and air traffic control.
