Peter Early
Peter Early was an American politician who served as the Governor of Georgia from 1813 to 1815. He was born on December 21, 1773, in Virginia and later moved to Georgia, where he became involved in local politics. Early was known for his efforts to improve the state's infrastructure and support for education.
During his tenure, Early faced challenges such as conflicts with Native American tribes and economic difficulties. After leaving office, he continued to be active in public service and was appointed as a federal judge. Peter Early passed away on December 15, 1817.
