People's United Party
The People's United Party (PUP) is a political party in Belize, founded in 1950. It is one of the two major political parties in the country, alongside the United Democratic Party (UDP). The PUP traditionally represents the interests of the working class and promotes social justice, economic development, and national sovereignty.
The party's symbol is a blue and white flag, and its supporters are often referred to as "PUPs." Over the years, the PUP has been involved in various government administrations, advocating for policies that aim to improve education, healthcare, and infrastructure in Belize.
