People's Association
The People's Association (PA) is a statutory board in Singapore that aims to promote social cohesion and community bonding among residents. Established in 1960, it organizes various activities and programs to engage citizens, fostering a sense of belonging and participation in community life.
The PA manages community centers and clubs, providing spaces for residents to gather and participate in recreational, cultural, and educational activities. It also supports grassroots organizations, such as Residents' Committees and Neighborhood Committees, to encourage local involvement and address community needs effectively.
