Pedro Eugenio Aramburu
Pedro Eugenio Aramburu was an Argentine military officer and politician who served as the de facto President of Argentina from 1955 to 1958. He came to power after a military coup that overthrew President Juan Domingo Perón. Aramburu's government focused on stabilizing the country and implementing economic reforms.
During his presidency, Aramburu faced significant challenges, including political opposition and social unrest. He is known for his efforts to modernize the Argentine economy and for promoting a more secular state. After leaving office, he remained active in politics until his assassination in 1970.
