Peach Boy
"Peach Boy," or Momotaro, is a popular Japanese folktale about a boy born from a giant peach. An elderly couple discovers the peach floating down a river and, upon opening it, finds a healthy baby boy inside. They raise him as their own, and he grows strong and brave.
As he matures, Momotaro learns about ogres terrorizing his homeland. Determined to defeat them, he sets off on a journey, befriending a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant along the way. Together, they confront the ogres, showcasing themes of courage, friendship, and the triumph of good over evil.
