Paul Lukas
Paul Lukas was an American actor born on April 26, 1891, in Budapest, Hungary. He immigrated to the United States in 1913 and became known for his work in both film and theater. Lukas gained fame for his performances in movies during the 1930s and 1940s, earning an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the film Watch on the Rhine.
Throughout his career, Lukas appeared in various notable films, including The Shop Around the Corner and The Sea Wolf. He was recognized for his distinctive voice and strong stage presence, which contributed to his success in Hollywood and on Broadway. Lukas passed away on June 15, 1971.
