Patty Jenkins
Patty Jenkins is an American film director and screenwriter, best known for her work in the superhero genre. She gained widespread recognition for directing the blockbuster film Wonder Woman in 2017, which was praised for its strong female lead and positive representation of women in cinema. Jenkins also directed the sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, released in 2020.
Before her success with Wonder Woman, Jenkins directed the critically acclaimed film Monster in 2003, which earned her an Academy Award nomination. She has also worked on various television series, including The Killing and Five Days at Memorial, showcasing her versatility as a filmmaker.
