Patrick O'Brian
Patrick O'Brian was a British author best known for his historical novels, particularly the Aubrey-Maturin series. Born on December 12, 1914, in England, he spent much of his life in France. O'Brian's writing is celebrated for its rich detail and authentic portrayal of life at sea during the Napoleonic Wars.
