Patrick Mahomes is an American professional football player who serves as the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League (NFL). Born on September 17, 1995, in Tyler, Texas, he gained recognition for his strong arm and playmaking ability. Mahomes played college football at Texas Tech University, where he set several records before entering the NFL Draft. In 2017, Mahomes was selected by the Chiefs as the 10th overall pick.
