Patrick Awuah is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and educator, best known for founding the Ashesi University in Ghana. He established the university in 2002 with the aim of providing a high-quality liberal arts education that emphasizes ethical leadership and critical thinking. Awuah's vision was to create a new generation of leaders who could contribute positively to Africa's development. Before founding Ashesi, Awuah worked at Microsoft in the United States, where he gained valuable experience in technology and management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Berkeley. His work has earned him recognition as a leader in education and innovation in Africa.
