Patriarch Bartholomew
Patriarch Bartholomew, born Dimitrios Archontonis in 1940, is the 270th Ecumenical Patriarch of the Eastern Orthodox Church. He has held this position since 1991 and is based in Istanbul, Turkey. As a prominent religious leader, he is often referred to as the "Green Patriarch" due to his advocacy for environmental issues and sustainability.
