Pat Nixon
Pat Nixon was the wife of the 37th President of the United States, Richard Nixon. Born on April 16, 1912, in Ely, Nevada, she grew up in a modest family and later attended the University of Southern California. Pat was known for her dedication to public service and her role as First Lady from 1969 to 1974.
As First Lady, Pat Nixon focused on various social issues, including the arts and volunteerism. She traveled extensively, representing the United States abroad and promoting goodwill. After her husband's resignation in 1974, she continued to support various charitable causes and remained active in public life until her passing on June 22, 1993.
