Particle Collider
A particle collider is a scientific device that accelerates charged particles, such as protons or electrons, to very high speeds and then collides them together. These collisions create extreme conditions that allow scientists to study fundamental particles and forces, helping to unravel the mysteries of the universe.
One of the most famous particle colliders is the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), located near Geneva, Switzerland. The LHC has made significant discoveries, including the detection of the Higgs boson, a particle that helps explain how other particles acquire mass.
