Part-Time Faculty
Part-time faculty are educators who teach courses at colleges or universities but do not hold full-time positions. They often work on a contractual basis, teaching specific classes without the additional responsibilities that full-time faculty members have, such as research or administrative duties. Part-time faculty may also be referred to as adjunct instructors or lecturers.
These educators typically have other jobs or commitments outside of their teaching roles. They bring diverse experiences and expertise to the classroom, often coming from various fields related to their subjects. Part-time faculty play a crucial role in providing flexible course offerings and enriching the academic environment for students.
