Parliament Of Singapore
The Parliament of Singapore is the legislative body of the Republic of Singapore. It is responsible for making and passing laws, as well as overseeing the government’s work. The Parliament consists of Members of Parliament (MPs) who are elected by the public, along with a few appointed members.
The Parliament meets regularly to discuss national issues and policies. It operates within a unicameral system, meaning there is only one legislative chamber. The President of Singapore plays a ceremonial role in the Parliament, while the Prime Minister leads the government and is usually the head of the majority party.
