Paris Region
The Paris Region, also known as Île-de-France, is the most populous administrative region in France. It encompasses the city of Paris and its surrounding suburbs, making it a cultural and economic hub. The region is known for its historical landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum, as well as its diverse population.
Covering approximately 12,012 square kilometers, the Paris Region is divided into eight departments, including Seine-Saint-Denis and Hauts-de-Seine. The region is also home to major transportation networks, including the Paris Métro and Charles de Gaulle Airport.
