Panpsychism
Panpsychism is the philosophical view that consciousness is a fundamental and universal feature of the universe. According to this perspective, all entities, from the smallest particles to complex organisms, possess some form of consciousness or mental experience. This idea challenges traditional views that only humans and certain animals have consciousness.
Proponents of panpsychism argue that it provides a more comprehensive understanding of the mind-body problem, which explores the relationship between the mind and the physical world. By suggesting that consciousness exists in varying degrees throughout nature, panpsychism offers a potential solution to questions about how subjective experiences arise from physical processes, such as those found in the brain of humans.
