Pan-Americanism
Pan-Americanism is a political and social movement that promotes cooperation and unity among the countries of the Americas, including North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. The idea is rooted in the belief that these nations share common interests and values, which can lead to mutual benefits through collaboration in areas such as trade, culture, and diplomacy.
The movement gained momentum in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, leading to the establishment of organizations like the Organization of American States (OAS). Pan-Americanism aims to foster regional integration and address shared challenges, such as economic development and security issues, among the diverse nations of the Americas.
