Palace Brothers
Palace Brothers is an American indie folk music project led by Will Oldham, who is also known by his stage name Bonnie "Prince" Billy. The project was formed in the early 1990s and is characterized by its lo-fi sound, introspective lyrics, and a blend of folk, country, and rock influences. The music often features sparse instrumentation and Oldham's distinctive vocal style.
The debut album, titled There Is No-One What Will Take Care of You, was released in 1993. Over the years, the Palace Brothers have gained a cult following and are recognized for their contributions to the alternative and indie music scenes. Their work often explores themes of love, loss, and existential reflection.
