Page Ranges
A page range refers to a specific set of consecutive pages within a document, book, or report. It is often used to indicate where particular information can be found, such as in citations or references. For example, a page range might be expressed as 1-10, meaning the information is located on pages 1 through 10.
In academic writing, page ranges are important for guiding readers to the relevant sections of a source. When citing a book, one might write Smith, 2020, pp. 15-20 to show that the information is found on pages 15 to 20 of Smith's work. This helps maintain clarity and allows for easier navigation of texts.
