Pacific League
The Pacific League is one of the two professional baseball leagues in Japan, forming part of the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) organization. Established in 1950, it features six teams that compete annually for the championship title. The league is known for its emphasis on offensive play and has produced many talented players.
The teams in the Pacific League include the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, Saitama Seibu Lions, and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, among others. The league operates from March to October, culminating in the Japan Series, where the Pacific League champion faces the winner of the Central League for the national title.
