The Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) was a collegiate athletic conference in the United States, established in 1915. It included schools primarily from the western part of the country, such as the University of California, Berkeley and University of Washington. The PCC was known for its strong athletic programs, particularly in sports like football and basketball.
The conference faced challenges in the 1950s, leading to its dissolution in 1959. Many of its member schools went on to form new conferences, such as the Pacific-8 Conference, which later evolved into the Pac-12 Conference. The PCC's legacy continues to influence college athletics today.
