PEI
PEI, or Prince Edward Island, is a province of Canada located in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. It is the smallest province in terms of land area and is known for its beautiful beaches, rolling countryside, and red sand. The island has a rich agricultural history, particularly in potato farming, and is famous for its seafood, especially lobster.
The capital city of Charlottetown is often referred to as the birthplace of Canada, as it hosted the 1864 conference that led to the Confederation. PEI is also known for its vibrant culture, including Anne of Green Gables, a beloved literary character created by author Lucy Maud Montgomery.
