Oxeye Daisy
The Oxeye Daisy (*Leucanthemum vulgare*) is a perennial flowering plant native to Europe and Asia, now commonly found in North America. It features white petals surrounding a yellow center, resembling a classic daisy. This plant typically grows in meadows, fields, and along roadsides, thriving in well-drained soil and full sunlight.
Oxeye Daisies can reach heights of 1 to 3 feet and bloom from late spring to early fall. They are often considered a symbol of wildflower meadows and are important for attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies. However, they can also become invasive in some regions, competing with native plants.
